Governor Otti directs ex-governor’s appointees to return government properties

The Government of Abia state says its attention has been drawn that some officials of the immediate past administration in the state are still holding government’s properties.

In a release signed by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Professor Kenneth Kalu, on Sunday, he said the government’s properties include vehicles, generators, laptop computers and other assets.

The Government directed anyone in possession of the properties to return such to the office of the SSG on or before 4pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, and obtain necessary acknowledgement from the office.

“Please note that failure to comply with this directive will attract sanctions,” the release added.
