Popular journalist and politician, Reuben Abati has reacted to the statement made by the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC flagbearer, where he stressed that it was necessary for a candidate who wants to lead a country like Nigeria to be energetic, and be filled stamina.
The journalist who spoke on Arise News said one can’t just merely say he isn’t going for a wrestling match, as being the president of the country is almost as equivalent as such due to the fact that it requires a lot of strength.
Reuben Abati furthermore joked that a wrestling match should be organized for all those aspiring to be the president of the country, as he would love to be among the spectators.
He said… “The way this presidential race is going, we may need to start organizing wrestling matches for the people who wants to be president of Nigeria, because the job of leading Nigeria requires a lot of energy, a lot of stamina, a lot of strength, so it’s not enough for the candidate of the APC to say I’m not going for a wrestling match. Infact, I will like to see a wrestling match.”
Recall that the APC presidential candidate had responded to series of statement made by some Nigerians who feared for his health, where he stressed that he isn’t going for a wrestling match, and that he is fit to lead to the nation.
