Member representing Ezeagu in the Enugu state House of Assembly, Rt Honorable Chima Obieze has appealed to youths not to jettison peace , unity and Justice as part of the indices to uneven development in all ramifications.
The state lawmaker dropped this message in his key note address to mark the 10th Annual Youth conference held at Godfrey Okoye University, thinkers corner , Emene, Enugu state.
He says peace , unity and Justice had been a strong weapon deployed not only among youths, but all round that ensured a virile society.
The state lawmaker further stressed the need for peace as a corrolary to all forms of progress, saying peace is not negotiable in all spheres.
Honorable Chime who made inferences to the adoption of peace by former indian leader and American activist taking cognizance of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King, that operated and succeeded on the template of peaceful coexistence.
He warned the youths on the consequences of not adopting same sane format, saying violent can only prolong uncertainties that could retarda accelerated development. .
