
A fire which engulfed a building in a northern Paris suburb has killed three people and injured eight others including a child, who is in critical condition.
According to officials, the fire started at 2:00 am (0100 GMT) on Saturday on the ground floor of the building.
A tweet from AFP read, “A fire broke out at 2:00 am (0100 GMT)Saturday in a building in in Stains, an immigrant-majority town about 15 kilometres (nine miles) from Paris, killing three people and injuring eight, including a child who is in a critical condition, officials said”.
