Gov Hope Uzodinma, a pan Nigerian youth governor, echoed commissioner for Youth Development, as he charges Pupils/students to be hardworking and unyielding, during the flag-off ceremony and distribution of school books by the first Lady.
Exactly 11:00am in the blissful morning of Tuesday being today 23rd July, at Teacher’s House Port Harcout Road, Owerri Imo State where the Hon. Commissioner of Education with his counterparts, Commissioner for Youth Development, Health etc., 27LGAs Solads, SAs, Principals, Teachers, pupils/Students, Civil organizations and wonderful men and women of our dear State (Imo) converged for the Flag-off Ceremony of distribution of books, being donated by Her Excellency, Barr. Chioma Uzodinma, who was ably represented by Prof. Johncliff Nwadike the Honourable Commissioner for Education.
Addressing the euphoric crowd on behalf of the Ministry of Youth Development and Talent Hunt, Hon. Dr. Mandela respectfully saluted the gathering in a high spirit and moved on to eulogise Her Excellency Barr. Chioma Uzodinma for her acts of magnanimity and generosity. Saying: “The books donated by Her Excellency Chioma Uzodinma is unquestionably a part of the campaigns in rewarding excellence in Education. He went further to give accolades to the Pan Nigerian youth Governor, His Excellency Dist Sen Hope Uzodinma CON, who has created huge and impactful educational platforms aimed at ensuring that Imo pupils/Students excel in all ramifications.
The young Commissioner, Hon. Dr. Mandela in his sagacious manner encourage the pupils/students to embrace qualitative studying, good morals etc. In his words: “Decide your future now.” He further mentioned his discovery of two talented dancers in the cultural dance displayed by the wonderful pupils/students, stressing that beyond cash reward, his Ministry will make sure their talents get to the peak of success.
The Chief host of the event, Prof. Johncliff Nwadike who also represented the first lady, in his earlier speech, extolled the eminent crowd and charge the pupils/students on obedience, perseverance and to heed to the advice of the hardworking parents who are relentlessly investing heavily in their education.
Prof. Nwadike however cited the huge victory of Imo pupils/students against their regional contemporaries in the Quiz and Essay writing competition in Abuja.
