Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Tinubu, stated on Sunday that the President is not indifferent, contrary to views shared by some Nigerians on social media.
Onanuga emphasized that President Tinubu is sensitive to Nigerians’ challenges and has reassured them that improvements are on the horizon.
Speaking on Channels Television’s “Sunday Politics,” he dismissed the nickname “T-Pain” given to Tinubu on social media, clarifying that the President has come to “repair the economy,” not to cause harm.
He noted that despite rising inflation, economic growth is evident, and revenues have increased.
Onanuga added that while the President is aware of the hardships faced by citizens, Tinubu is not aware of his social media nickname, as he does not follow online commentary.
“Some people mischievously refer to him as T-Pain, but he is not T-Pain,” Onanuga stated, adding that Tinubu consistently assures Nigerians that he understands their struggles and is dedicated to creating relief measures and fostering prosperity for the nation.
