Popular Korean Actor, Song Jae-Rim Passes Away

Popular Korean actor Song Jae-Rim, renowned for his role in the hit K-drama The Moon Embracing The Sun, has tragically passed away. He was found dead at his residence in Seoul’s Seongdong district on November 12, at the age of 39.

Reports indicate that a two-page note was discovered at the scene, though the cause of his death has not been officially confirmed. While no details have been provided to the public, rumors circulating on social media suggest the possibility of suicide.

Authorities have stated that there are no signs of foul play, and investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death are ongoing.

Funeral services for Song Jae-Rim will be held at a funeral parlor in Yeouido on November 14.

Born on February 18, 1985, Song Jae-Rim began his career as a model, appearing on the covers of numerous magazines. He transitioned into acting in 2009 and gained significant recognition for his role in The Moon Embracing The Sun, a popular drama series that aired in 2012.

Throughout his career, Jae-Rim appeared in several films, including Give Me Back My Cat, Grand Prix, The Suspect, On Your Wedding Day, The Snub, Good Morning, and Tunnel 3D. He also starred in TV dramas such as Unkind Ladies, Two Weeks, and Queen Woo.
