President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of new board members and Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) across various government institutions.
According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President has named 42 board chairpersons and a secretary for the Civil Defence, Immigration, and Prisons Services Board.
Additionally, the President appointed a new Managing Director for the Nigerian Railway Corporation and a Director-General for the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI).
In the statement, President Tinubu emphasized that the role of the appointed chairpersons is non-executive, directing them to refrain from interfering in the day-to-day management of the organizations they oversee. All appointments are effective immediately.
