Mohbad’s Album Clinches No. 1 On iTunes Hours After His Death

Mohbad‘s album “Blessed” peaked at number one on Apple’s Album chart hours after his death was announced.

The Nigerian artist Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Alabama died at 27, sending shock waves across the music industry.

The rap album “Blessed” was released on June 30, 2023, containing eight songs.

The album featured other musicians such as Zlatan and Bella Shmurda.

This is MohBad’s first chart-topping project.

Gists9ja had earlier reported that renowned Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has financially supported the grieving family of the late singer.

Davido, known for his philanthropic endeavours, contributed N2 million to the family by sending it to the late singer’s father through someone.

Mohbad featured Davido in one of his songs titled ‘Once Debe.’

The mid-tempo soundtrack was one of the songs on the late singer’s album.
