Anambra state Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Tuesday, sacked the State Commissioner for Information, Mr Paul Nwosu.
Nwosu, who had been in office as commissioner since inception of Soludo’s administration in 2022 was sacked for alleged incompetence.
A source who confirmed the report said that he was relieved of his duty over incompetence, adding that the new commissioner for Information would be Mr Law Mefor.
Mefor, according to the source, is currently at the Anambra State House of Assembly whose sitting is holding as at the time of filling this report, waiting to be confirmed as the next Commissioner for Information since his name was forwarded to the hallowed chamber accordingly.
But the former Commissioner for information had claimed that he resigned for personal reason having served in the administration of former governor Willie Obiano for eight years.
However, it would be recalled the sacked commissioner never called a press conference, talk more of relating with journalists since his appointment.
