Kano State Commissioner Mohammed Diggol Resigns from Project Monitoring and Evaluation Ministry
Mohammed Diggol, the Kano State Commissioner for the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation, has officially resigned from his position.
Gists9ja reports that the resignation was confirmed in a statement released on Sunday by Sanusi Dawakin Tofa, the spokesperson for Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf.
According to the statement, Governor Yusuf has accepted Mr. Diggol’s resignation and expressed his appreciation for his contributions to the administration.
Diggol originally served as the Commissioner for Transportation when the current administration assumed office in 2023. In December 2024, during a cabinet reshuffle, he was reassigned to the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation, a role he held until his resignation.
Governor Yusuf acknowledged Mr. Diggol’s dedication and hard work, thanking him for his selfless service and commitment during his tenure as a member of the State Executive Council. The governor also wished Diggol success in his future endeavors.
