Dammy Krane Reacts As Producer Gifts Davido $20,000

Controversial Nigerian singer, Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, popularly known as Dammy Krane, has renewed his demand for repayment of an alleged debt from fellow artist David Adeleke, widely recognized as Davido.

Gists9ja reports that the call came shortly after Davido shared a story about receiving a $20,000 gift from a producer and writer he had collaborated with on his Timeless album.

Davido, in an Instagram story, expressed joy over the unexpected gesture, noting the kindness of the producer. He revealed that the individual, after receiving his publishing check, visited his home to hand over $20,000 as a token of appreciation.

“A certain producer/writer I started working with from Timeless… finally got his publishing check, came to my house, handed me $20,000, and said, ‘Baba, I thank you.’ Happy to see there are still good people in this world! Being appreciated sure feels good! Love you, brother!” Davido wrote.

Reacting to Davido’s post in the comment section of an Instagram post, Dammy Krane urged the singer to settle the money he allegedly owes him. In a lighthearted yet pointed tone, Dammy Krane referred to Davido as “owe B owe” and promised to give him $50,000 from the payment if it was what he desired.

He commented, “Owe B owe, just gimme my money. I go give you $50k inside if na wetin you like.”

This is not the first time Dammy Krane has publicly called out Davido regarding an alleged debt. In 2022, he accused Davido of owing him money and took the matter to social media, prompting responses from fans and other celebrities. Following his accusations, Dammy Krane was reportedly arrested, with some celebrities intervening on his behalf.

In response to the allegations, Davido filed a cease-and-desist lawsuit against Dammy Krane. However, the latter continued to criticize Davido on social media, keeping the feud alive.

The recent exchange underscores lingering tensions between the two artists, with Dammy Krane leveraging social media to push his claims. While Davido has not publicly responded to the latest call-out, fans are closely watching to see if this will escalate or be resolved amicably.

The situation serves as a reminder of the complexities of relationships in the Nigerian music industry, where public disputes often spill into the digital space.
