According to reports, Lady Gaga and Elton John were asked to perform at Jeff Bezos’ wedding, and charged $6 million each, which was declined.
The wedding, which took place in Venice, Italy, from June 24 to 26, featured performances by artists such as Ellie Goulding and Matteo Bocelli, and was graced by A-list celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, and Katy Perry.
According to reports, Lady Gaga and Elton John were invited to perform at the event but reportedly charged $6 million each — an offer that was ultimately declined.
Luca Zaia, President of the Veneto Regional Government, estimated that the total cost of the wedding ranged between $46.5 million and $55.6 million. The lavish celebration reportedly included the rental of five luxury hotels, 90 private jets, 30 water taxis, and Bezos’ $500 million superyacht.
