Students of Community Secondary School, Amansea, in Anambra State, have warmed hearts after pulling off a surprise birthday prank for one of their teachers.
The pupils reportedly devised a playful plan to catch their teacher off guard and make her birthday memorable.
In a video circulating online, the students could be seen pretending that a snake had entered their classroom, prompting the teacher to rush towards the scene out of concern for her students.
The teacher appeared visibly alarmed as she hurried to the classroom, seemingly determined to ensure that her pupils were safe from the alleged snake.
However, when she arrived at the classroom entrance, the students suddenly shouted, “Surprise!”
They then presented her with a birthday cake and broke into a birthday song, revealing that the supposed snake emergency was only a prank designed to surprise her.
The teacher’s initial fear quickly turned into excitement as she realised what had happened.
She reportedly smiled and celebrated with the students, visibly touched by the unexpected gesture from her class.
