Peter Obi has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and across the world as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, describing the occasion as one that embodies faith, sacrifice, obedience to God, compassion, and love for humanity.
In his message, Obi urged Nigerians to use the festive period to reflect on the values of selflessness, tolerance, and commitment to the common good, noting that these principles are especially important amid the country’s current challenges.
He said Nigeria remains a nation of immense potential but is currently weighed down by avoidable difficulties, adding that the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir should inspire renewed hope for a functional, just, and productive country where no one is left behind.
Obi also called for prayers for security forces on the frontlines, wisdom for leaders, and economic relief for citizens struggling with hardship.
