Nigerian Woman Reportedly Arrested After Suspected Drugs Found Hidden in Palm Oil Keg

A Nigerian woman has reportedly been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) after suspected illicit drugs were allegedly discovered concealed inside a keg of palm oil she was carrying.

According to reports, the woman claimed that someone had given her the keg and asked her to deliver it to another person in Saudi Arabia.

She reportedly maintained that she was unaware that the container allegedly contained concealed drugs, believing she was simply transporting palm oil on behalf of another person.

The circumstances surrounding her arrest, the identity of the person who gave her the keg and the type and quantity of the suspected substances were not immediately clear.

It is also unclear whether the NDLEA has issued an official statement on the incident.

The allegations have not been independently verified, and the woman’s account has not been independently confirmed.
