A dispatch rider has reportedly been caught in Anambra State after allegedly failing to deliver an expensive wig to a customer several days after picking up the package.
The incident reportedly began on Friday when the rider collected the wig for delivery but allegedly failed to get it to the intended customer.
According to the woman who ordered the item, efforts to contact the rider repeatedly proved unsuccessful as he allegedly blocked both her phone number and that of the vendor who supplied the wig.
The woman said she and the vendor attempted to reach him through other phone numbers, but the rider reportedly remained unreachable.
Determined to locate him and recover the package, the customer said she sought the assistance of a friend who lives in another location.
According to her account, the friend contacted the dispatch rider and pretended to have a delivery that needed to be picked up.
The rider reportedly accepted the supposed delivery request and went to the location provided by the woman’s friend.
However, upon his arrival, he was allegedly confronted and caught over the undelivered wig.
