Apostle Joshua Selman Sparks Reactions With Terrifying Prophecy About Death of High-Ranking Politician [VIDEO]

Popular Nigerian pastor, Apostle Joshua Selman, has sparked reactions online after reportedly giving a prophecy concerning the death of a high-ranking politician in Nigeria.

Speaking during a recent church service, Selman said he saw a prominent politician whose “time is up” and claimed he saw people gathering to bury the person.

“I’m seeing a high-ranking politician in this nation. His time is up. I’m seeing him going. I’m seeing people gather to bury the person.”

According to reports, Selman said the revelation came while he was praying for sick people and that he initially struggled over whether to make it public.

He said the purpose of sharing the revelation was to prepare and comfort the politician’s family, rather than to celebrate the person’s death.

However, Selman did not identify the politician, disclose the person’s political position or reveal the region the individual is from.

His statement has since generated mixed reactions on social media, with some Nigerians questioning why the identity of the politician was not disclosed, while others defended the pastor’s decision to share the revelation.

One internet user wrote:

“Oga, mention the person’s name. We are tired and fed up of all these unnecessary predictions. If the prophecy is coming from God, be bold enough to mention the politician’s name. Stop beating around the bush. Tomorrow, if a random politician dies, gullible people would say he said it.”

Another commenter wrote:

“This is one reason I am so upset with church leaders in Nigeria. God is not a God of confusion. If you have a prophecy from God, it will be clear. Not all these up-and-down prophecies. Besides, what’s even the essence of prophecy if one is not given a chance to repent?”

Another user suggested that the statement could be referring to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who recently made public comments about his mortality, while questioning the prophetic claim.

The commenter wrote:

“Obasanjo announced last month that he’s close to his grave. That’s the likely person. Nothing like prophecy. These frauds called pastors are well placed by virtue of their position to get all sorts of intel.”

Another internet user questioned the practical value of an unnamed prediction, writing:

“What is really the value of prophecy if the unnamed subject, his family, friends, or associates can’t do a damn thing to change his imminent fortune? Why bother Nigerians with this revelation? Is it just to prove that he is a prophet or can see vision?”

The identity of the politician referred to by Selman remains unspecified, and the statement itself does not establish who the individual is.
