A Nigerian woman, Umar Khadijatu Nana, has alleged that her brother’s second wife fled after allegedly infecting him and his first wife with HIV.
Nana made the claim while reacting to a post by Ogun-based Imam and medical physicist, Farouk Alrem Al-Egbaawiy, who had shared a set of rules concerning polygamous marriages.
According to Nana, the incident occurred within her brother’s family after he married a second wife.
She claimed that both her brother and his first wife contracted HIV and alleged that the second wife subsequently left the family.
