Passengers Protest Sudden Air Peace Flight Cancellation at Abuja Airport

Passengers of Air Peace reportedly protested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Saturday evening following the cancellation of their scheduled flight.

The flight, which was originally scheduled to depart at 12 noon, had reportedly not taken off several hours later.

According to reports, the affected passengers were allegedly informed at about 6pm that the flight had been cancelled, leaving many of them frustrated and stranded at the airport.

The development sparked anger among the passengers, with some reportedly demanding an explanation from the airline’s management over the late cancellation.

The incident has also generated reactions online, with Nigerians questioning the airline’s handling of flight cancellations and calling for greater accountability from airlines and regulatory authorities.

One internet user wrote:

“Please, I want to ask a simple question: why does Air Peace always do this? Any good reason?”

Another user said:

“This is unacceptable. Airlines must be held accountable for disrupting people’s lives; regulatory bodies need to step up.”

Another commenter wrote:

“I think the management of @flyairpeace is deliberately killing the company. You can tell with actions and inactions.”
