It was earlier reported that the Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso has cautioned those undermining the capability and power of the 5 aggrieved Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, he said those doing so are only doing so at their own risk. The G5 is also known as the Integrity Group. It consists of Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom, Governor of Abia state, Okezie Ikpeazu and Governor of Enugu state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
The former Governor of Kano state said this during the inaugration of Mgbuitanwo internal roads in Emohua LGA of Rivers state. In his words, members of the Integrity group led by Wike are good people who are doing the right thing and they would be judged by what they have done. He went on to state that Rivers state is as critical as Kano in winning the elections. In a related development, Kwankwaso said that he regrets not forming alliance with the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi ahead of the general polls in 2023.
