The Lagos State Rapid Response team has cleared the debris of burnt tyres made by protesters in the Ibafo area of Ogun State.
Photos from the debris cleanup were shared on the Rapid Response Squad’s Twitter handle on Friday.
“ Our officials led by our Commander, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi are presently in Ibafo on intelligence that hoodlums blocked the Lagos – Ibadan Expressway which created extended traffic to Otedola Bridge. Our officers are clearing debris of burnt tyres left by the hoodlums.”
Some youths on Friday morning took to the streets in Ogun state to protest over the scarcity of naira in the country.
