On Thursday, the Labour Party’s presidential campaign hosted a town hall gathering in Makurdi, Benue State. His Excellency, Gov. Samuel Ortom, the governor of Benue State and a member of the G5 Governors, was present at the Townhall meeting.
To the amazement of the audience, Gov. Samuel Ortom joined them in chanting Peter Obi’s name he was speaking during the town hall meeting.
Also note that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State and current presidential candidate for the All Progressive Congress (APC), and Sen. Kashim Shettima held their own campaign rally for presidency on Thursday in Ibadan, Oyo State. A large crowd greeted them at the airport and the location of the campaign rally.
