Nollywood actress cum politician, Tonto Dikeh has shared a video of Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, allegedly being sneaked into Nigeria.
Gists9ja reported that the police arrested Sam Larry over an ongoing investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of 27-year-old singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
The spokesperson of Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the development in a statement released on Thursday night.
Hundeyin said, “Yes, Balogun Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with the ongoing investigation.”
In the video shared by the thespian, a group of policemen could be seen escorting an individual whose face is hidden.
She captioned the short clip “Sam Larry being Sneaked into Nigeria. Happening now, welcome home Sam Larry.”
The police, last week, also confirmed that pathologists had concluded an autopsy on Mohbad, while they await the result.
He said, “Autopsy has been concluded. Awaiting results.”
The autopsy was carried out following the exhumation of Mohbad’s body by a combined team of the Nigeria Police Force and health officials.
