As part of the continued efforts of Governor Charles Soludo to reposition the educational curriculum of the state, the Government of Anambra State has officially approved the use of “Fundamentals of Government: A Complete Guide for Schools & Colleges”, a 319-page book authored by Christopher Ononukwe, for the 2024/2025 academic session in all Senior Secondary Schools across the state.
This recommendation which was announced on the official website of Anambra Ministry of Education followed a previous approval by the Federal Government’s agency, the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC), which was communicated to the author in January this year.
The approval from Anambra Ministry of Education came after a thorough review process, underscoring the book’s comprehensive coverage and relevance to the study of Government as a subject.
Christopher Ononukwe expressed his gratitude to Governor Prof. Charles Soludo and the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, for recognizing the value of his work, and thanked God for making this achievement possible.
This approval once again marks a notable milestone in Ononukwe’s writing career and a significant contribution to educational resources in Nigeria.
