Open Commendation To Evangelist Ebuka Obi And Award Of The Title: 'Okaa Oburu Uzo Ndigbo'

We, the undersigned, for and in behalf of IGBO RUO ULO UDO N’IHUNANYA DEVELOPMENT UNION, express our profound gratitude and heartfelt commendation to Evangelist Ebuka Obi, hereby affectionately referred to as the ‘Okaa Oburu Uzo Ndigbo’ for his remarkable decision to relocate the headquarters of his renowned Zion Ministry to our beloved Igbo Land. This significant move demonstrates not only his courage but also his unshakable leadership in trailblazing a new era of spiritual and social transformation of Alaigbo in general.

We acknowledge and commend Evangelist Ebuka Obi’s bravery in leading the way and inspiring Igbos both at home and abroad to join the bandwagon of domesticating investments and talents in Alaigbo. This decision to return to Igbo Land represents more than just a personal move; it symbolizes a clarion call to our people to come home and develop our land. This relocation is a direct reflection of the powerful vision embodied in the phrase Igbo Ruo Ulo, Edozie Ala Igbo—urging all Igbos to return home and build a prosperous and united Igbo nation.

For far too long, the Igbo people have been taunted with the saying Oka mma na mba—those who thrive and develop lands afar but leave their own homeland behind. Evangelist Ebuka Obi’s bold step is a practical clarion call to change this narrative. It is time therefore we brought our ingenuity, talents, and resources back to our roots to uplift and rebuild Igbo Land into the beacon of excellence it was destined to be.

As the Igbo proverb says, “Onye agbaghi oso mmiri no oge, mmiri ga ezu ya ahu mgbe na adighi anya”—he who does not run before the rain starts will have his or her whole body wet when he least expects it. The time to act is now, and Evangelist Ebuka Obi is leading this charge. He didn’t just act timely, he is under divine guidance. The relocation reminds us of the proverb, “Awo anaghi agba oso ehihie na nkiti” — the toad does not run in broad daylight for no reason. His relocation is a purposeful and divinely inspired mission to awaken the Igbos to their calling of restoring our homeland as the time to act is now.

As we of The Igbo Ruo Ulo Udo N’ihunanya Development Union commend Evangelist Ebuka Obi for his leadership and trailblazing stride, assuring him that we stand tall behind him, we implore and beckon on other illustrious sons and daughters of Alaigbo to take a queue. we assure him that we stand tall behind him. We call especially on all Igbo General Overseers of the various Churches and Ministries to make haste and bring the headquarters of these Churches and Ministries home to Igbo land. We also call on the leadership of the various Igbo markets such as Alaba International, Ladipo Spare Parts, ASPAMDA, Trade fair, Computer Village etc to duplicate and replicate these markets in Alaigbo.
