2025 World Labour Day: Sir Azuka Okwuosa Salutes Hardworking Citizens of Anambra

As the world marks the 2025 International Labour Day, Sir Azuka Okwuosa, the 2025 APC Senatorial aspirant for Anambra South, has extended heartfelt appreciation to all hardworking individuals across Anambra State, recognizing their immense contributions to society and the economy.

In a goodwill message released by the Azuka Okwuosa Media Team, Okwuosa paid tribute to everyday workers—truck pushers, market women, farmers, artisans, mechanics, teachers, and others—whose resilience and honest labour keep society running.

“We celebrate every man and woman working tirelessly to earn a living and make ends meet—the truck pushers, the woman selling vegetables in the market, the farmer whose back bends with honour as he tills the land, the mechanic sweating beneath vehicles, the sachet water seller hustling through traffic, and the teachers in classrooms shaping our future. I salute you,” he said.

Sir Okwuosa emphasized the importance of both paid and unpaid labour, stating that the world thrives on the dedication and sacrifices of such individuals, who deserve respect, recognition, and support.

He reassured the people of Anambra South that his senatorial ambition is driven by the vision to alleviate their struggles and ensure that their efforts are rewarded.

“Be assured that my senatorial aspiration—our collective aspiration—is to ameliorate your struggles. All your efforts will not be in vain, for you must reap the fruits of your labour. Keep faith alive, for my victory at the polls will be your gateway to a better life,” he declared.
