Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has stated that the team should set their sights on securing a spot in European competition next season
However, their league position last season was not sufficient to secure a spot in European competition.
Iwobi emphasized that the team’s strong showing should serve as motivation to aim higher in the coming campaign.
“What we achieved last season should be a stepping stone, a motivation, for us to achieve Europe now,” he told Sky Sports.
Marco Silva’s side finished in eighth position in the Premier League last season.It was the West London club’s best-ever finish in the Premier League.
