Former Super Eagles midfielder, Sunday Oliseh, has stated that Victor Osimhen should join a Premier League club this summer if he wants to stay in the spotlight.
Oliseh made these remarks during an interview on Lagos Talks 91.3FM.
According to Oliseh, Osimhen still has “a lot of work to do” if he wants to perform at the highest level with the biggest clubs.
“I believe Osimhen is a major asset to Nigerian football,” Oliseh said.
“But like every top talent, he has his shortcomings. It’s important to find ways to manage and improve on them.
“If he wants to remain in the spotlight, he needs to make a move to the Premier League.”
Nigerians are eager to see him in the Premier League. He’s been linked with clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea for quite some time,” Oliseh added.
“But for him to reach that level and truly make an impact, there are several things he needs to change.”
