England have emerged as champions of this year’s European Under-21 Championship held in Slovakia.
This comes after their thrilling 3-2 win over Germany in the final on Saturday .
Harvey Elliott and Omari Hutchinson put England ahead with a 2-0 lead, but Germany responded with goals from Nelson Weiper and Paul Nebel to level the score.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw after 90 minutes at Tehelné Pole Stadium.
Jonathan Rowe struck in extra time to secure the win for Lee Carsley’s side over Germany.
With this victory, England have successfully defended their European Under-21 in Slovakia.
