Popular crossdresser and social media personality Bobrisky has criticised Nigerians for what he described as misplaced priorities, accusing many people of focusing on celebrity scandals while serious security issues continue to claim lives across the country.
Bobrisky, who relocated to the United Kingdom in 2024, made the remarks in a post shared on Instagram while reacting to reports of a teacher allegedly killed after bandits abducted teachers and pupils from a school in Oyo State.
Expressing frustration over the situation, the social media personality questioned why national attention appeared to be centered more on the ongoing controversy involving Frank Edoho, his estranged wife Sandra, and singer Chike instead of the worsening insecurity affecting ordinary Nigerians.
According to Bobrisky, it was disturbing that a teacher could allegedly be abducted and killed, yet conversations online remained dominated by celebrity relationship drama and allegations of infidelity.
The media personality described such priorities as “trivial,” stressing that issues involving kidnappings, killings and insecurity deserved more public outrage and attention.
The comments come amid heightened concern over insecurity in parts of Nigeria, especially following reports of attacks involving schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.
At the same time, social media has continued to buzz with reactions surrounding the alleged affair between Chike and Sandra Edoho, leaked audio conversations, and public comments from celebrities including Daddy Freeze and Toke Makinwa.
