Nollywood actress and African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate in Abia State, Doris Ogala, has threatened to make public what she described as evidence against popular Nigerian clerics Pastor Jerry Eze and Apostle Johnson Suleman.
Ogala, who is seeking to unseat Governor Alex Otti in the 2027 Abia State governorship election, made the remarks in a series of strongly worded posts on her social media page, where she accused the clerics of taking positions that she believes favour the incumbent administration.
The actress-turned-politician particularly questioned what she described as Pastor Jerry Eze’s silence over the performance of the Otti administration, while alleging that the cleric’s wife was working with the Abia State governor.
She also expressed dissatisfaction over Eze’s relationship with former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and suggested that the cleric had not supported her political ambition despite what she described as their personal connection.
“All of una data dey my hand with evidence,” Ogala wrote, before directly addressing Eze and accusing him of failing to speak against what she described as shortcomings of the Abia State Government.
“Jerry, you claim to be my brother. How many times have I reached out to support my campaign?” she asked.
Ogala also criticised Eze over his association with Obi, questioning why the former Anambra State governor had been accorded recognition during a church service.
She ended the post by promising to release a video in which she said she would make further disclosures involving Eze and Suleman.
“Make una wait for my video. I will expose both you and Suleman Johnson,” she wrote, while describing the two clerics as “fake pastors.”
In a separate post, Ogala directed another series of allegations at Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder and senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries.
Her comments centred partly on a separate dispute involving Pastor Chris Okafor, in which Ogala claimed that individuals she described as associates of Suleman had become involved.
According to Ogala, one of the individuals was a witness in the matter between her and Okafor, while another person in Abuja was allegedly involved in pursuing the case in Lagos.
She further alleged that money had been demanded from her and claimed that her refusal to pay had contributed to efforts to have her detained.
Ogala said she had previously confronted Suleman over the matter but claimed that the cleric denied knowledge of it.
Her latest anger, however, appeared to extend beyond that dispute to Abia politics.
She accused Suleman of supporting Governor Otti and challenged statements she said the cleric had made concerning developments in Abia State.
“Since I decided to face my political career and stop exposing all you fake pastors, it’s not okay, abi?” Ogala wrote.
She continued: “Since you like endorsing nonsense, with the suffering people are going through in Abia, you open your mouth wide to affirm lies about Abia State. You will have me to contend with.”
Neither Eze nor Suleman had responded to the specific allegations contained in Ogala’s latest posts at the time of this report.
