Nigerian billionaire and entrepreneur, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, made headlines over the weekend, not for his lavish celebration, but for a moment of discipline that won him public praise.
During his star-studded 50th birthday party in Abuja, Obi Cubana was captured in a viral video correcting his son for what many considered a display of disrespect toward Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate and former governor of Anambra State.
In the now widely circulated clip, Peter Obi was seen walking over to greet Obi Cubana. While the businessman stood up to warmly receive him, his son remained seated. Upon noticing, Obi Cubana immediately scolded the boy, instructing him to stand in respect of the elder statesman.
