While addressing party supporters, Governor Okpebholo urged voters to reject Governor Adeleke at the polls, accusing the incumbent of paying more attention to dancing than governance.

The singer shared what he claimed was the Edo governor’s West African Examinations Council (WAEC) result, which allegedly contained several low grades, including D7s and E8s.
Although Davido did not provide further commentary, the post was widely interpreted as a direct response to Okpebholo’s criticism of Governor Adeleke.
