Nigerian music superstar Davido has opened up about a touching message he recently received from an Indian man he met during a previous visit to India.
The man, identified as Govind Kadak, recalled working as a butler at the hotel where the singer stayed roughly a year ago. In his message, he expressed deep appreciation for the encounter, saying it had a lasting positive impact on his life.
Kadak shared that since meeting the Afrobeats star, things had improved significantly for him, adding that he was preparing to purchase a new car — a milestone he described as a major achievement following their interaction. He also offered prayers and well-wishes for Davido’s continued success.
The singer reposted the message on Instagram alongside a photo they had taken together during the trip, reflecting on the moment and the connection they shared.
Reacting to the note, Davido remembered the man as being exceptionally dedicated and supportive throughout their stay, adding a reflective comment:
“You never know when God is using you.”
The exchange has since resonated with fans online, many praising the story as a reminder of how small acts of kindness or simple encounters can leave a lasting impact on others.
