Delta North Senator, Ned Nwoko, has appealed to Nigerians, bloggers and fans of his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, to give her privacy and space to recover amid their ongoing marital crisis.
Nwoko made the appeal in a statement shared on his Instagram page on Monday, expressing concern over the circulation of what he described as false reports about the actress, including fabricated death announcements and misleading claims about her health.
“I want to make a sincere appeal to the public, particularly Regina’s fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators, to please give Regina some breathing space,” he said.
The lawmaker explained that his appeal was motivated not only by concern for Daniels but also by the wellbeing of their children.
According to him, their children deserve to see their mother receive love, support and every opportunity to recover.
Nwoko further noted that Daniels had been through a lot and needed understanding and encouragement rather than public criticism.
His appeal comes after the actress shared a video of herself in a wheelchair, in which she spoke about her health challenges.
The senator also warned against the circulation of false information concerning Daniels’ health and personal life, insisting that he would not tolerate the spread of fabricated reports.
The marital crisis between Daniels and Nwoko became public in October 2025, when the actress reportedly left their matrimonial home, sparking widespread discussions on social media.
