Ajebo Comedian has reacted emotionally to the reported death of Alex Ekubo, as tributes continue to pour in from fans, colleagues, and celebrities across the entertainment industry.
In a post shared on Instagram, the comedian blamed online blogs and social media users for allegedly contributing to the emotional struggles the late actor faced before his passing.
According to Ajebo Comedian, Alexx Ekubo became deeply affected after false rumours and narratives emerged online following the collapse of his engagement.
He alleged that after the relationship ended, social media users began spreading claims linking the actor to same-sex relationships, which he said allegedly left the Nollywood star emotionally depressed.
The comedian further claimed that Alexx Ekubo had experienced bullying even during his school days and questioned the role online trolling and cyberbullying may have played in the actor’s emotional wellbeing.
“Alex was full of life, energy, he was a good guy. You people play with people’s emotions in the name of cruise. Happy now?” he wrote.
