A Nigerian woman identified as Basirat has recounted how she reacted after allegedly discovering an intimate video involving her husband and another woman who is also married.
She shared her story while responding to a separate account posted online by a woman who claimed she had been dealing with a similar situation involving her spouse’s extramarital relationship.
According to Basirat, the discovery of the video which clearly showed her husband’s identity left her deeply hurt and angry. In response, she said she decided to forward the material to the other woman’s husband, as well as share it within their residential area and at the woman’s workplace.
Basirat stated that she took the step out of frustration and a sense of betrayal, adding that she has no regrets about her actions. She claimed the experience caused her significant emotional distress, saying both her husband and his partner had put her through severe hardship.
Her revelation has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some commenters expressing sympathy for her pain, while others questioned whether escalating the situation publicly was the best course of action.
