My dear leaders of our great party of NDC across all the country, this is a massive appeal to you. Please let’s not collapse the interest and unity we presently enjoy within our great party.
I am deeply concerned by reports of alleged attempts to interfere with the outcome of the Lagos Central Senatorial District primary election held on 29 May 2026.
The election was conducted free and fair across the 5 LGAs of Lagos Central Senatorial District. Any attempt to disregard this process will be resisted by every legal means available.
Party members voted in a direct primary process, and the results reflected the will of the people.
Any attempt to alter, manipulate, or overturn the outcome after the fact undermines democracy and disrespects the mandate freely given by party members in Lagos Central Senatorial District.
I call on the party leadership, members of the party and relevant party authorities to uphold the integrity of the process and ensure that the authentic results are respected and that the party does not toll the line of disregarding a free and fair process.
The will of party members must prevail.
Democracy must be protected.
The attached primary results speak volumes of the decision of party members in Lagos Central Senatorial District.
