A Nigerian woman, Tina Iengem Tindi, has sparked reactions online after publicly calling out a bride on her traditional wedding day, alleging that the groom is already her husband.
The woman identified the bride as Aondo Kadoon Rita, who reportedly held her traditional wedding ceremony with the man on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
In a post shared on social media before it was later deleted, Tina directly addressed the bride and alleged that the man she was marrying was already married to her.
She wrote:
“Hello Aondo Kadoon Rita. The man you marrying traditionally today is a married man, my husband.”
The allegation has since generated reactions online, with social media users questioning the circumstances surrounding the claims and seeking clarification from the parties involved.
Tina’s claim has also drawn attention because of her previous public posts about her marriage. On November 11, 2024, she publicly celebrated what she described as her wedding anniversary, further fuelling questions about the status of her relationship with the man she identified as her husband.
The identity of the groom was not disclosed in the post, and it remains unclear whether he was legally married to Tina, traditionally married to her, or whether there are other circumstances surrounding the relationship.
It is also unclear whether Aondo Kadoon Rita was aware of Tina’s alleged marriage to the groom before the traditional wedding ceremony.
