Tompolo’s PBAT Door-to-Door Movement Inaugurates Imo Chapter, Unveils 30 Campaign Vehicles

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, led by its Grand Patron, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has inaugurated its Imo State chapter as part of efforts to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The inauguration ceremony, held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kalu Square in Owerri, featured the presentation of 30 campaign vehicles, 30 generators, 60 public-address speakers and other materials to support the movement’s activities across the state.

Tompolo, who was represented at the event by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Kestin Pondi, reaffirmed his support for Tinubu’s re-election.

He reportedly described the President’s economic reforms as important measures towards Nigeria’s long-term development.

Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, commended Tompolo for supporting the movement and pledged to collaborate with its members to advance Tinubu’s re-election campaign in the state.

Uzodimma stressed the importance of grassroots mobilisation, urging campaigners to engage directly with residents, explain government policies and encourage political participation across Imo State’s 27 local government areas.

The event attracted several political figures and stakeholders, including the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr Dennis Otuaro; the movement’s National Coordinator, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi Asuku; APC stakeholders and supporters.

The inauguration in Owerri represents another phase in the movement’s reported expansion across the country as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
