A member of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement has stirred widespread reactions on social media after claiming that wearing the church’s branded vest can provide supernatural protection against armed robbers.
The claim surfaced in a video clip that has been widely shared online. In the footage, the church member made the statement while addressing what appeared to be a congregation during a church gathering. Speaking with confidence, the individual said that anyone wearing the church’s vest would experience divine intervention if confronted by criminals.
“If you wear the Chosen vest and encounter an armed robber, just say ‘I’m a Chosen’ three times and you will see God in manifestation. Our Daddy G.O has made many people millionaires,” the member declared in the viral video.
The statement quickly drew attention across various social media platforms, sparking intense debate among Nigerians about the role of faith and the limits of religious claims in real-life situations.
Many online users questioned whether such messages could blur the line between spiritual encouragement and practical safety, especially in a country facing serious security challenges.
