Pastor David Ibiyeomie, founder of Salvation Ministries, has outlined four levels of financial returns he believes Christians can receive from God through consistent giving and tithing.
The cleric made the remarks in a viral video while teaching about the importance of maintaining consistency in giving, even when economic conditions are unfavourable.
According to him, the four levels are yearly returns, five-year returns, six-year returns and seven-year returns, which he associated with 30-fold, 60-fold, 100-fold and financial release, respectively.
Explaining the first level, Ibiyeomie said Christians who give consistently for one year would enter what he described as the 30-fold realm.
“Consistency is a scriptural term to guarantee an annual return from God. One year is the thirty-fold realm,” he said.
He explained that those who maintained their giving for 12 months without interruption would experience what he called a harvest.
The pastor also warned that stopping before completing the year would mean starting over.
“If you give to eleven months and you break it, you are starting afresh. That’s why many miss it,” he stated.
Ibiyeomie identified the second level as a five-year return, which he linked to the 60-fold realm. He referenced Leviticus 19:23–25 in explaining this stage.
According to him, Christians who remain consistent in giving over the period would move into a higher level of financial blessing.
‘Financial slavery ends after six years’
The cleric described the third level as a six-year return, which he associated with the 100-fold realm.
Citing Exodus 21:1–2, which discusses the release of a Hebrew servant after six years of service, he linked the biblical passage to what he described as freedom from financial struggles.
“Financial slavery ends after you have done it for six years. Once you are consistent for six years, you find out that financial slavery has ended,” he said.
He added that reaching the 100-fold realm meant people would no longer struggle financially as they previously did.
“Many think it’s hundred-fold, does it end? No. When you get to that, we are in a hundred-fold realm where you don’t struggle again, things happen,” the pastor stated.
Ibiyeomie speaks on seven-year returns
Explaining the fourth and final level, Ibiyeomie described it as a seven-year return, which he associated with financial release.
He cited Deuteronomy 15:1, which discusses the release at the end of every seven years, to support his teaching.
According to him, Christians who reach this stage would attain a level where they would no longer need to struggle to obtain financial blessings.
He also urged Christians not to wait for favourable economic conditions before giving.
“If you look at economy, you will never sow. There’s no time it will be convenient for you to sow,” he said.
“If you are waiting for a convenient time, it will never come. It’s not enough to be involved, you have to be consistent,” Ibiyeomie added.
