Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, has officially introduced his new wife to members of his congregation.
Odukoya unveiled his wife, Pastor Mrs. Mo. Odukoya, during a church service held on Sunday, November 1, at the church’s headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos.
Addressing members of the congregation, the cleric said he had been doing the work of ministry alone since becoming a pastor and decided to remarry after finding a suitable partner.
“Ever since I became a pastor, I have been doing this work of life alone. The Bible said it’s not good. I was looking and searching, and I found.
“I am sure some of you saw the post. Some people said, ‘Is it artwork?’ It is my wife, so allow me to introduce to you for the first time, Pastor Mrs. Mo. Odukoya, my wife. A new first lady,” he said.
The introduction comes days after Odukoya sparked speculation on social media when he shared a photograph showing two hands wearing wedding rings.
The marriage blessing was reportedly officiated by Pastor Tunde Bakare, Senior Pastor of The Citadel Global Community Church, in the United States.
Odukoya’s new wife is the daughter of Reverend Theophilus and Bolaji Daniel.
Jimmy Odukoya is the son of the late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya and the late Bimbo Odukoya. He was previously married to Kemi in 2013, and the union produced two children.
